The Worthington Arts Council exists to encourage, provide, and support arts and cultural activities and groups in our community. For over 30 years the Arts Council has been working to directly impact the activities of other local arts organizations, artists, and students of the arts. The Arts Council is currently in the process of constructing the Peggy R. McConnell Arts Center of Worthington, a multi-disciplinary community center that will offer a variety of art classes, performances, visual arts exhibitions, and more. The McConnell Arts Center is scheduled to open in the fall of 2009.
